Theresa was fantastic to collaborate with. Extremely knowledgeable, affordable, highly professional, and her team was outstanding too. If I need legal assistance again, she’ll definitely be my go-to attorney.

Theresa is absolutely amazing! We needed an attorney and she called us back right away with all the answers we were looking for. From that moment, we knew we found the right person. She’s not only highly professional but also very relatable and empathetic. She didn’t just meet our expectations; she blew them out of the water! Theresa is truly in her zone. If only there was an option for a 6-star rating. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I hired Theresa to represent me in November 2021. My wife and I paid her $10,000 upfront with an agreement to pay the remaining $10,000 at $1,000 per month until the full $20,000 retainer was settled. We diligently made our $1,000 payments for the next seven months. The trial was set for September 2023. In 2022, my wife lost her job. We relied on state assistance to cover our rent, utilities, and groceries. As a result, we fell behind on our payments to Theresa. My wife informed Theresa about her job loss and assured her we would catch up as soon as possible. In July 2023, I was arrested again for something not even in my possession. Both my co-defendant and I were charged, but despite my co-defendant taking responsibility, I remained in jail because my bail on the first case was revoked and set at $100,000 cash only. My wife repeatedly asked Theresa to request a new bail hearing. A few days after my arrest in July 2023, Theresa visited me in jail, demanding payment or threatening to resign from the case. She claimed we owed $3,000 for the retainer and $7,400 for the trial. My wife managed to pay her $4,100 within two days, clearing the retainer and putting some towards the trial. She also sent flowers and left numerous emails and voicemails, which went unanswered. Despite continued requests for a new bail hearing, Theresa did not respond. After paying her $21,090, I remained in jail, losing my job, and my wife struggled to care for our three kids. My wife had another $2,100 to pay Theresa but couldn’t access it due to a bank hold. When the funds became available, the bank allowed her to send only $700. My wife contacted Theresa several times that week to explain, but due to car problems and work stress, she couldn’t deliver the rest. My wife sent the $700 one morning, and Theresa visited the jail, shoving a motion to withdraw in my face, threatening that not signing would look bad to the judge. I begged her not to proceed, explaining I needed her with the trial just two months away. She demanded $10,000 by 5 PM, claiming trial fees had increased from $7,500 to $10,000 due to the habitual charge filed in November 2022—something we never discussed or signed for. My wife left work to gather as much money as possible. She spoke to Naomi at Theresa’s office, who only recorded $3,600 in payments, not $4,090, and claimed we owed another $8,700. My wife requested an itemized statement, but Naomi hung up on her. Theresa ultimately resigned from my case, citing my wife’s “rudeness” to her staff. I am the client, NOT MY WIFE. Imagine my wife’s stress and fear. The attorney we trusted abandoned us when we needed her most. Unethical. My wife left Theresa an honest review. Ms. Ristenpart didn’t like it, emailing me at 2:15 AM, claiming she’s been trying to get court-appointed for my first case and hoping my wife’s negative review doesn’t harm our relationship, urging me to have my wife remove it. SHE FIRED ME BECAUSE OF MY WIFE. She’s trying to bury my wife’s review with new ones, and after two years of not responding to Google reviews, she starts replying to disprove my wife’s comments. My response to TR: I told her no. I don’t trust her, how could I now? She knows we are a working-class family. She knows my wife is alone with three kids. Did she care? Absolutely not. She knows my fate is in her hands and she could help me. But instead, she took our $20,000, withdrew, and sent us another invoice for $19,000.
    Right.
