My husband and I worked with Mike Bailey on estate documents. Mike was very knowledgeable, personable and made the process easy. Highly recommend Mike as an estate attorney!
Mr Bailey represented me for my divorce, then again for the probate of my grandmother’s estate. He is very knowledgeable, professional, thorough, organized, and patient. He had to send me many reminders and prompts to keep things moving along, which he did gently, but firmly. I only gave a couple stars because in the beginning he seemed like a nice guy. I had retained him for child support and custody. I feel I was taking advantage of. I spent $6,000 or so to the point I told him I could no longer afford his services. He kept upping his retainer fee and asked for more than one. I feel it did not add up. I paid a good chunk recently, mind you was towards a retainer yet again. There was no way I went over the time. I told him once that runs out I could unfortunately after that no longer afford him. I told him I am hoping it covers the rest especially for the last court date regarding child support since the father and I had an agreement. He did not seem to take it well. I did call him because I misplaced a zoom meeting paper for court ( I know that’s on me). I try to give him a call and see if he would help by just giving me the information I needed to get on the zoom conference. He was very unprofessional about it and hung up on me. As someone who paid him a lot for his services and was a client, I feel that could of been handled differently. I definitely was taking advantage of. I get lawyers are pricey but the other party only paid $1,500 total for their services. I was also mislead how much it could amount up to. Next time I will shop a few different lawyers.
